GCSE Results 2021 - congratulations!

Students at Outwood Academy Bishopsgarth are celebrating after receiving their GCSE results.

There were scenes of great happiness at the Harrowgate Lane-based academy as students collected their results at the end of a year which has seen them face the challenge of the pandemic alongside their year 11 studies.

Mark Robinson, Head of School at Outwood Academy Bishopsgarth, said: “My colleagues and I have been inspired by the hard work and commitment shown by each of our students. We are proud of all that they have achieved and it is a privilege to share in their celebrations today. We wish them every success as they take their next steps in September.”

Gemma Trattles, Lead Principal at Outwood, said: “These fantastic results are the just rewards for the inspirational resilience and determination shown by the students, and staff, during one of the most challenging years the education sector has ever faced.
